White Ceilings and Painted Walls

The customer wanted white ceilings and white walls, and the door fames and skirting done in white satin. We started by sheeting up all the rooms as it was empty as we where doing it for her to move in to.

Our team then went around all the walls with filler and sanded all the woodwork ready, so we did make more dust every time we went in a room.

We mist coated all the new plaster on the ceilings so that the paint would stick, then we and touched up all the filler on the walls so that it would be ready nice and smooth for 2 coats.

Dulux Emulsion Surface Coating

We started with the ceilings applying 2 coats of dulux trade white emulsion paint letting it dry in between the coats. Perfect Colours Decorating then don’t the same to the walls putting on 2 coats of dulux trade white emulsion paint.

We then went around the skirting with 120 sandpaper ready for the undercoat, we all so cut back the carpet so we could get to all the skirting as the customer was getting new carpets in all the rooms.

Our skilled decorators then painted the first coat of undercoat on all the skirting boards and door frames followed by the final coat of white satin topcoat paint with drying time in between coats.

As on every job our company works on, we always clean up every day so that the customer has a nice house to live in or in this case get ready to live in. The job in total took about 5 day to complete with 2 men working on it from 08:45 to 16:30 Monday to Friday.
